Frequently asked questions
How are neighborhood scores calculated?
Each score is built from real places on the map, such as schools, transit stops, parks, clinics, cafes and shops, using open map data. The app measures how close those places are to each neighborhood and weighs them by the priorities you chose.
Which cities have property listings?
Property listings are available in a growing list of supported cities. Every city on the map can be explored for its neighborhoods, and listings are added city by city over time.
Does GeoLocale track me or use my location?
No. GeoLocale has no accounts and no sign-in, does not access your device location, and includes no advertising or analytics tracking. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
The map is not loading. What can I do?
GeoLocale needs an internet connection to load maps and place data. Please check your connection and reopen the app. If it still does not load, contact us and let us know your device and iOS version.
How do I reset my preferences?
Your preferences and cached data live on your device. Deleting and reinstalling the app clears them completely.
