Herzliya splits fairly clearly between west and east. The western side holds Pituach and the coastal strips, with villas, hotels, the marina and the tech offices, while the centre is built around Sokolov Street and Ben-Gurion Boulevard and sits close to the Herzliya station. Further east and south the city turns to older mixed housing, village-like streets and newer multi-storey developments.
